Mana pool, int vs mana items sanity check
People tell me once above 200 int int items are only 5 mana an int. Using the original UI, I can see mana displayed as a finite number. Unbuffed I have 3027 and 223 int. I remove a 5 int earring my mana pool goes down to 2991. I put the earring back on and remove a 35 mana bracelet it goes down to 2992. With that logic I should be able to replace the 35 mana bracelet with a 5 int bracer and have 1 more mana. Nope its now 3014. How can that be based on the numbers above?
Throw a wrench in to that finding, I then replace a 5 int earrign with a 35 mana black saph earring, should be more mana pool right? Nope, it goes down to 2992 like I thought the initial test would have done with the bracelets. Does int vs mana varry per slot? Is there a coding problem with specific items? Is the original UI just gimp? What will happen to Sookie now that her best friend is dead? |
Tara ain't dead!

I could be wrong, but I always thought the amount of mana/int you get scales with how far you are above 200. For example, going from 200-205 int would give you more mana than 210-215.
|
So perhaps being above 220 int and putting on a 5 int bracelet instead of a 35 mana bracelet is not the same as being below 220 int and putting on a 35 mana earring vs a 5 int earring?

Yeah, I believe returns continue to diminish all the way up. 200 to 201 > 201 to 202

You bastard did tara seriously die? Was waiting til the end of the season to watch it all at once.
|
That was 5 days ago bro.

haha you should have gave a spoiler alert.. I think she'll definitely be dead since they haven't rez'd anyone to date. Most likely it will lead into another one of lafayete's possession's.
|
It's hard to say really, they dont go by books either since Lafayete woulds have been dead by second season if so.
