Where did you hear about Project 1999?
 

Was going to make this a poll, but that would limit the responses too much, so lets do this with replies. Short replies are fine.

I heard about this server a long time ago through word of mouth. Then I recently heard about you from a Blog on Youtube from a guy called MMOBro. He mentioned this site and I came looking :)

Something Awful forums - nearly crapped myself when I read about this, took less than 2 hours from reading the thread to logging into my first EQ character in over 9 years.

Been having a blast ever since!

Searching YouTube for EQ videos and ran across the P1999 videos. Piqued my curiosity, now I'm hooked.

Heard about it from a few friends on the EQC project, figured they were taking too long.

I started playing around with EQEmu in 2007 or so looking for a REAL classic server. P1999 began developing, and it was worth the wait.

Hubby and I had been looking for a stable, good pre-Luclin EQEmu server for quite some time off and on. I happened to go looking for it the other day and stumbled upon it. I installed and then the next thing I knew my husband quickly followed suit! And here we are!
