LD fighting - they time out too fast

I was boxing and was fighting my two warriors level 2. I /quit on one of them and he kept fighting (like they are supposed to) and we duked it out. Well, after a few seconds (I would say 10 or less) he just poofed before combat was broken by either mine or his death.

Is this intended? I thought as long as combat was going you stayed in game until either you or the mob (person) you are fighting dies. That is how I remembered it.

This is weird if what you're saying is true, because if you're engaged by a mob here or on blue99 and go LD, you stay in game for a colossal amount of time (like 10 minutes or something) or until you or the mob is dead, whichever is shortest. If you're engaged by a player it should be the same.. otherwise you can just insta-camp with /q

Bump. People srsly can just run a bit away, /Q, and they're gone in like 10secs. Dunno if having a chance to properly hit em stops this, but this one guy just ran a few rooms away, FDed, /Qd, and he was gone soon as I got there.

Can confirm this, people are actually exploiting this by getting out of LoS and /q out.

Or they know they will /q out quickly and suddenly you've got a guy who is gone in less time then you can kill him.

i have also experienced this with a few people LD'ing out before i could kill them. docking out of LS and /q. by the time i get in LoS and start casting they poof, even with my pet following and hitting them.
