Missing Egg-shaped pumice.

Note one post dated December, 2000 stating that appeared to have been removed from merchants. I recall a nerf on the pumice to add a casting time as well -- it used to be instant-click. This would appear on the classic EQ updates log somewhere around this time.

Egg-shaped pumice was part of classic monk PvP survivability gear. Pre-Kunark, monks were decent DPS and AC, but lousy resists.

They're removed from red99 in the name of balance. Storebought instant dispel wrecks PvP completely. It was the one non-classic thing that was unanimously requested and approved. Egg-shaped Pumice is different from Crystallized Pumice, the one with a cast time, which is still there. Unlimited instant dispel was not part of anyone's toolset, it was beyond broken. Removing them from red99 is justifiable because they were removed from live fairly early.

I think perhaps this is not in just like all of the "classic" things are not in as this beta server is a copy of blue99 and what is available matches what is available on blue99 at present. If these were removed pre-kunark, they would not be on blue99.

I'd like to see a developer weigh in on this. They were an important part of classic pvp -- non-casters are very vulnerable without it.
