Spells_us.txt file... forgot to backup the original
 

Wanted to check out a few other servers like Desdemona for bots etc, finding that I've got many "unknown spell" issues in the spell book. I'm guessing its because my working spells_us.txt file has been "updated" by P99 as I use that nifty program that checks for files and auto-replaces. I forget the name of that program I use at home to do that.

Anyway... so suppose I'd like to get my original spell file back, is it downloadable somewhere or am I looking at a new install again?

when you playing on Emu best appraoch is to do the following:

1. Do CLEAN install of EQ - AND NEVER RUN IT
2. Whenever you want to play on SPECIFIC server, you make a COPy of your EQ folder, and update that SPECIFIC folder for that SPECIFIC server.

Usually people keep as many as 3-5 copies of eq folder for each server they play on, and unmodified original - this will save you a lot of headache later on.
