Very informative post.

I cannot hit them with combat abilities. Sometimes I can, but most of the time there're problems. This happens in a lot of places. Other group members have experienced the same things.

I recommend posting this in the bug forum. Try and include zones, mobs, and explain the situations in full detail.

The Gods of P99 can't fix it if you don't tell them what's wrong.

if u are talking about kedge thier is a known bug involving the z axus i believe that does not allow targeting very well......

it drives me nuts, anyone who's levelled in oasis has had to experience it at least once. crocs fleeing at low life just a little too far after a string of misses makes them completely unkillable unless you've got a pet... or a bow, anyway. damn it feels good to be a ranga

I *think* what you're experiencing is what I've noticed hunting the same mobs. Quick example, a croc that is swimming around in the water cannot be seen/hit by a spell if I'm casting on land/above water. Solution, dive under water while casting/hitting the mob. The top of the water creates a wall of sorts so that your character can't see through it.

i've still never been able to hit them/cast on them, myself. even underwater.

but even then it sucks doubly in places where there are parts where the water is deep enough to cause the bug, but not deep enough to dive. some spots in guk spring to mind.
