I select the server i want, and then it says 'Logging in to the server. Please wait...'

Well, it sits at this screen forever.

any thoughts?

btw, this is when running the EQemu, as I am trying to check out the Project 99 server and pvp server

Was this a fresh EQ setup? Are you using EQ Titanium?

Chrushev, this was a fresh set up. I used the EQ titanium CDs (5 in total) and then I downloaded that file you suggested (DUXA installer), and unzipped that into the EQ folder.

probably firewall settings or connection issues then ...

did you get it working? Mine is doing the same thing from underfoot Download.

I am on my own network, so its not firewall settings. In fact to test it, i turned OFF my firewall, ran EQemu, and was still stuck at the same screen.

I have a good internet connection, so that makes me wonder about connection issues as well.

Any other thoughts? The issue is still prevalent.

I was thinking about it...

I signed up for a TRIAL account (14 day trial) and played on the trial server for an hour the other night. Obviously, i did NOT use the EQemu.

Does the fact that I have a trial account matter?

yea it matters since u apparently played on live (=you patched the game and corrupted the emu-files)

reinstall and copy paste all files to a separate folder, then you should be good to play live and emu.. just need 2 different exe shortcuts directing to the apropriate folder.

Mitic, I was having this issue BEFORE i played on the regular servers. But I will take your advice and reinstall and try again.

I will let you know of the results.
