Modern Models as well as textures?
 

So we have been given A way to update the textures to a more modern look, which personally I like because EQ classic was more about difficulty and the people than looks, so the prettier the better.

But is there also a way i can update my character models? When I used to play the game, my Dark Elf Sk looked damn sexy and I;'d love to recreate that. Anythoughts?

With some people if they are using the SoF client they can enable the PoP character models i would give that a try

there is no server so it does not matter

You are a cleric and cannot equip robes nor wizard hats.

wizard hats are generally all/all (runed cowl, savants cap, batfang headband!)
