Have I recently told you to post in the petitions/exploits forum?

DO NOT POST WHAT THIS IS REGARDING. IT COVERS SEVERAL THINGS. YES IT'S INTENTIONALLY VAGUE BUT I BET IF IT PERTAINS TO YOU...YOU'LL KNOW.

If you have questions about it please send me a tell in game or PM me. don't be the guy who posts what this is about in public please.

If you had a significant problem and i told you to petition on the message boards in a few weeks when things settled down then i need you to get in touch with me. PM me or post in the petition forum. i don't care which.

If you think this might pertain to you please check :)

:D

Amelinda no one likes secrets.

good luck getting these dregs to actually participate in the improvement of the server.

it's a known fact that they will refuse to make any logical arguments and/or post them in the right forum.

if they can't complain and openly flame about the status of the server or the staff, they'll quickly lose interest and stop playing.

Reiker - i love Secrets. She is an amazing person and I hear she's a pretty terrific pvpr!

and Samoht - they are quite welcome to flame me and bitch about me. :) i am far more helpful than several would have you believe though.....about the only thing they have on me is 'that bitch changed my name'

The frustration and the lack of willingness to comply with dev requests pretty much directly comes from the fact that these exploits are being fixed but nobody is being punished. The people who farmed cedar wands or instant respawning quest NPCs to level to their mid-upper 30's are still running around without consequence. Removing the items without punishing anyone is just pissing everyone off that they won't get a chance to benefit from the exploits and it looks a lot like unfair treatment.

There was a thread posted a while ago by an impotent troll calling for a wipe, and the number of people who were in favor of a wipe significantly outnumbered those who weren't. Why do you suppose that is? Exploiting obviously, but it's not the exploits themselves, it's the way they're being handled.

Ironic post at its best.

I'm pretty sure the wand thing wasn't an exploit. It was just a plain old nerf, like Ivandyr's Hoop.

If people want to wipe the server and waste days of playtime for hundreds of people just because like half a dozen players benefitted from questionable features, they're retards. You're only getting more "wipe plz" sentiments because retards gravitate towards the forum and angry people are more vocal. There's 500 players who would hate a wipe, they're just not spamming the forums about it because they don't care about something so utterly inconsequential as someone gaining five or ten levels in a way that may or may not have been completely legit. By Christmas, none of that will matter as every dedicated player will be approaching 50.
