PvP Noob advice.

I'm considering stepping into the PvP server for a couple of reasons. 1) i havent ever played EQ PvP and I think I should at least experience it. 2) Its classic fully restores to original, which is cool.

I am wondering what classes would be really noob friendly for someone whos never played PvP EQ.

Thanks~!

Necromancer, bard, shaman, wizard, druid are good for new pvpers.

What makes each of them good?

just ask people if they're mad a lot, you'll fit right in.

Rcommend druid or necro for ease of leveling and new player friendliness.

Bard isnt a beginneR class.
Shaman are a pain in the ass to level early on

Druid or Shammy is my recommendation. Good PvP ability and newb friendly, plus desired in groups. (Not enough clerics to go around so any healer is badly wanted).

play a rogue

rogue is decent solo, especially once you have disarm, mobs just don't stand a chance.

PS play paladin, lots of fun in pvp and you get to roleplay being a white knight to excuse any epussying you attempt

Druids are built for PvP. Almost every skill they have makes them better at PvP. They also get portals, which makes them that much easier to play.

You can solo level pretty fast by charming a mob and then using it to kill other mobs that you snare and make chase you around. You will rarely have down time this way.

Fear does not work in this server's version of PvP, so Necros are not as powerful as they were in Classic. Pet's also do less damage, but at least you can DoT, blind, and lifetap.
