bards broke since patch

randomly i dont get any message on spells nor do i see the buff or detrimental message or effect

added to that my stamina and mana bar is bouncing up and down from 100% to 0% and back again when iam casting songs!

this is a serious bug since i died already twice since mezz didnt stick at all (neither resist message) !!!

Yes, I can confirm this. Buff durations seem to have taken a hit too. About a tick less than usual.

Same here. Was working fine last night and when I logged on today around 11am EST I noticed the invis song was giving me "You feel your self starting to appear" messages every single tick. Also mana and endurance bars were bouncing between 0% and 100% as mentioned above.

Side note.. I logged in this morning at around 3:30am-4:00am EST to check on some spawns and I was not receiving the "starting to appear" messages while using invis song.

please roll us back..this is almost unplayable and get us killed pretty fast in hard camps (ie mezzes not working randomly)

Deathrydar 04-19-2010 04:59 PM

I just logged on and noticed the same thing. When I cast songs, my mana bar empties out very quickly and then it fills back up just as quickly. Then the same thing happens with my stamina bar.

also i dont know if this applys for the bugs already known about bards, but there are times when i try to cast a song it dosnt give me the 'you have missed a note' saying it just stops casting..and i will recast it about 10-20 times and it still wont go with nothing but 'song ends' being spammed on my screen i have to stop tryin to cast for awhile or else hit it really fast over and over again just to get my song to go

Tested this some more. Mez lasts less than usual for sure, and I need to mess with slow some more yet but that seems to not be lasting its full duration. Buffs don't appear to have changed except they randomly won't stick and there's no fail message. The message "Your song ends." only shows once now, so I'm wondering if whatever changed with that is whats causing some of these issues.

It's shaky, but not as bad as before the last big bard fix.

I am working the bard issues. The more feedback, the sooner they will be fixed. Demanding rollbacks is not one of my options. I want to move forward and get them fixed once and for all.

If you have specifics on how to reproduce a bug, then post all the specifics and I can fix it faster.

If you want to complain and demand rollbacks, I don't have problem leaving them broke and go on to a class who will help me get them fixed.

Bards are my focus this week, so now that I have you attention, I would appreciate your help. So post all your bard issues here ASAP please.
