server down?
 

Just got home from work, server is down....anyone fill me in on how long/why its down?

No down time that I'm aware of.. I'm logged in right now and have been for about 3 hours

the website is showing thats it is down and its 5:42 am atm

Yeah i see it often down on the website but when i look at server lists its still up mostly.

The connectivity between P99 Server and EQEmu server is horrible for some reason. Can't even transfer files between them for more than 100 K/s. I'm pretty sure its something to do on the EQEmu server's side (our old data center) because even trying to transfer files between that server and our old rented server, in the same data center, but going through public addresses and not the private link, I only got max 600 K/s when I should have been getting 11 MB/s.

But anyways, if the link gets disrupted between servers and the P99 server auto reconnects, the LS won't kick the old server.. so for a few seconds there would be two listed, then the LS would kick the old connection and mark the server as down even though its up. I need to fix that.

The other solution is we're moving EQEmu soon anyways off that shitty old data center and into our new facility. :D
