So that people can tell that they've let 16 hours pass before bumping their post. I would say about 80% of people who actually bump their threads disobey the rules of the EC forums.

Please for the love of god wait 16 hours to bump your threads, because it is a snowball effect. If I want my auction seen I must bump it to compete with the other fucks that bump it every 4 hours.

An unenforced rule is not actually a rule, it's just a suggestion.

I propose instead of forum suspensions we go with permanent bans after 2nd offense. If that goes into effect it's easy to deal with them.

In all seriousness, I wish people followed the bump rule... so annoying
