Agreed, I am not really sure why these are not handled daily. I understand that its a small staff that has other things on their plate, but I just believe its a critical part of server growth.

Real life often demands of people to travel and/or do other things. We are real life people, with real life jobs, and this is indeed our hobby. We do not get paid.

For example, imagine your hobby was preparing sandwiches for homeless people. Some of those people might be like 'WHY aren't sandwiches made every single day?' I know these volunteer sandwich artists are few and far between, but I believe it is crucial for them to do it everyday.

Something like that ^. The current IP exemption process has been functioning since 2009. Sometimes people must wait a few days.
