Druid killing animals?
Should I care? Will they stop loving me if I do? If so then at what point (ie, will a few errant kills haunt me forever)?
I rather like the fact that wolves and bears and soforth are typically amiable to me, but there are times when I'd really like to kill them. Please help a still-newb Druid make an informed decision. :) |
kill the animals :O!!
i don't think many give faction hits watch out if you are in qeynos hills though... holly windstalker will pwn you if she sees you attacking bears or wolves. oh and save any HQ bear skins you find.. can turn those into 10 slot backpacks with weight reduction. |
The only animals that I recall giving faction hits are the bears in surefall glade. Any others should be safe to slaughter at will.

It's a great irony that druids (and later rangers) are supposed to protect animals, yet they are given the greatest tools to kill them.

There's nothing wrong with killing animals when you worship nature etc. It's a necessary process required to manage populations, etc.
However it's just a fantasy game. Go get your exp :P |
any animals they kill in lore afaik they worship and pray to tunare etc
|
My main concern was some unforeseen faction loss. Seems that is not a concern. I will go forth and slaughter, with all of your blessings of course :)

So far as I know, if you don't gt a faction listing at the end of killing an npc, then said npc has no faction and you can kill it as often as you like and have no consequence for doing so. So killing random animails like lions/bear/wolves etc should have no negative consequence for a druid.
Hope that helps! |
