Server Problem?
 

Disconnect zoning into East Freeport on the boat. Tried to log back in several minutes later and cant get past server select screen. Pressing "Play Everquest" just gets me booted back to login screen.

Update, just tried again and got a 1017 error.

getting this exact problem repeatedly as well since yesterday. no successful logins since yesterday.

additional details:
re-patched my spell file, no change
deleted eqclient.ini, no change
using a different ISP, no change
EZserver works with no problem

IDK if this is related... just got d/c'd and now is giving me "an unkown error has occured while trying to connect to the server" at server screen... can't get in.

I'm receiving the same message. I came here to troubleshoot but I guess it's just a server-side problem.

Looks like its the login server. I get the same error no matter what server I try.
