Update Problems?
 

So I use the Launcher to update it didn't work when I connect to server says I need to update my spell files ok.. So I hop on site download the newest files install... Connect that way and stillt he same problem? Anyone got any ideas.... Thanks

Sounds like user error, did you unzip the files into the right place?

This has been confirmed by a few users in the Patch Notes thread, I'm having the same issues.

Lots of people having the same issues including myself.

I'm a bit confused as to how I'm supposed to apply the patch.. I tried going through the EQemu launcher but it said that I didnt have the required permissions. If I were to use the first link on the patch page (EQChanges V21), do I just extract all of those files to my EverQuest folder?

Should be fixed now. I had the same issue (was actually able to login earlier with the old file, and then couldn't login after updating). Been logged in for 20 minutes now.

I just kept re-running the eqemu launcher. Eventually it worked.

Im unable to login also. When I run the EQemu launcher it says "not enough permissions to the specified everquest directory. Aborting patching...". Not sure what to do.

I am also having this issue when I extract all files to my EQ folder. Any confirmed solutions?

I used the eqemu update launcher thing and it updated just fine.

Used it about 30 seconds ago.
