Theres lot of things that aren't classic, Like egg shaped pumice and shaman dispell pots not in the game, UI's, Linking items, resist rates, Line of sight on bolts, there was no Alla or eqatlas back in classic or p99 wiki, You could charm players and fear players in classic im sure i cuold list more, i realize some things are hard to fix while others are impossible to fix, thats cool i understand i thank u for giving the "cloest" to live as it can get, But right now its virtually impossible for a melee to find a group unless you are either

A) getting PLed
B) know a group of people

i've Ran from highkeep to mistmoore(seen some peeps in mistmoore all mostly the 1 guild grouped with them 1 pvped them once ) to sola no najena, to unrest, and i've seen that 1 group in MM, i can tell u im not gonna go chuggin around 2 or 3 hours each day to run to empty zones, global ooc or any time of global chat is kinda needed atleast for a trail i think.

Also you can turn ooc off or ignore the trolls, there is uaully a spam filter on ooc so u cant spam th shit out of it,

Make a "noobie" channel that only toons under level 20 can join. That will help new folks "make friends and find groups" (as if that strawman was the real issue here).
