Why have you quit?
 

During the first weeks, the server was thriving. There's obviously people interested. Somehow, we've managed to fuck up everquest pvp. The server is stable and as close to classic as I ever thought possible.

Why have you quit?

Not many have quit, the server spiked with bluebies excited about the pvp server. The small fraction of 'real' players that quit are players like myself who can't do a one box grind on a melee. The new exp boost has me logging back in to get PL'd by a druid. I'm sure i'll play regularly once I hit 50.

My guild came into the server with around 7-10 active players with many others interested. We are down to 2 semi active players now.

My biggest issue is the fact that the population continues to go down. I can handle all the other issues. Its extremely hard to put in time on a server that looks to be vacant in a few months.

The lack of GM communication was terrible after the first month and before a month ago. The biggest update was a post from Rogean on page like 50 of 100+ in rants in flames(That took months for them to follow through on). I'll admit that the communication lately has been better(or at least more).

Lack of punishment for illegitimate players.

A new job + a lack of PvP / No global OOC / No meaningful Population / Only one big zerg guild raiding and only two capable of being in fear has me only playing on the weekends now and really considering quitting for good.

I think we all know that the largest chunk of population was lost when guards in towns did not defend players from the beginning of the server. The time it took to patch was a damned unacceptable joke.

There is very little point to playing this server without hardcoded teams. The majority of players don't want to have to join a guild run by some fucking asshole kid to have a chance to get groups and allies, to have a little meaning to our online time.
