I'm guessing the map files can all be removed now for a smaller still install.

I'm doing this on Linux, so a working version for that would be via bash script:

This script depends on you having a plain text file of all the needed files saved in ~/bin/eqEssentials

I just did a fresh install, updated my files to run p1999, ran the eq lite client .bat file, and moved it to my flash drive. Right now when I start up I do not see any servers to log in to. Any ideas?

I am connecting to the login server (5998) but not showing any emu servers.

When I run the modified shortcut from my c:\program files\sony\everquest folder, I am able to log in no prob.

Curious. Are you using a different shortcut to access the flash drive? I created a 2nd modified shortcut that I put on my Flash Drive.

I also use the EQEmu launcher, which doesn't need a modified launcher at all to work. Its works perfectly on my Flash Drive.

yeah it's weird. sometimes i see servers, and sometimes i dont. when I am able to see servers I can log in and everything works perfectly (great job btw).

I am starting it through a modified shortcut.

E:\EQLite\eqgame.exe patchme

Fixed it; computer was deleting half the script for some reason; obnoxious keyboard. Thanks for your great work.
