So close, yet so far.

It is amazing how much memories from this video game has. I just started playing this game again. I have to say this game hit me hard with emotion when i first hear the stone marker music in qynos hills.... The mysterious music that makes you feel like it was an actual adventure. Sometimes ill run all the way to this spot just to hear the music again and remember so many memories. Thank you so much project 1999 for giving me the chance to live this again. I know it can never be the exact same feeling but damn close... Just with less people :(

Spread the word, and there will be more. Everytime I'm in Gamestop I bring this up and people are jazzed to get back into it.

Also helps to donate btw!

I felt pretty nostalgic when I exped in qeynos killing bats, fire beetles, gnoll pups 10 years later when I first started on this server, though the Kelethin music was always my favorite.

Qeynos and the surrounding zones has always been my favorite places as that was where I first started playing EQ back when it launched. I absolutely love the music at the gates in Qeynos, the music on the vendors, out in the hills near the little shop.. Great game and I'll be on this server for a long time...

yea kelethin was the first area i ever started in. so thats the music that gets my nostalgic juices flowing. although i made dwarf after realizing i made a wood elf

Just the loading music makes the hair on the back of my neck tingle.

My wife doesn't play games, but when she hears it she thinks it's from Lord of the Rings.

:D

Hehe youtube brought me here aswell. Im back to stay in EQ. I gave wow a run for four years now and i came to realize i never relly have any fun playing wow.. Never got that unpredictable danger and adventure feeling. I really do hope p99 isnt going anywhere anytime soon because no other mmo games will ever come close to this one.
