I just downloaded and yada yada. got to the launch and it launches then does that.

Your post should have read: "Follow every step in the Getting Started guide verbatim." :)

Yes followed every step

This should have gone in the technical help section.

And I doubt you did...Walk me through, step by step, exactly what you did to set up EQEmu. Don't link me back to that guide and say "I did all this" because that doesn't matter to me. What matters is you give me every step you took so I can see if you missed something or messed something up.

If the detail is not excruciating we will not be able to HELP.

Just yelling HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and detailing the event by saying "yada yada" does nothing for us. lol

downloaded the EQEmuLauncher

Coppied the velious files

launched, asked me about a folder path (that wasn't mentioned in the setup at all) So i put the folder path " C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest " and the Exe path auto assigned to "C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\eqgame.exe "

then launched, ask me if i wanted to patch something Host, said no, got that error. next time i patched it. same error.

My res is 1920x1200. could that have anything to do with it?

Anyone who starts a thread in the wrong section and -only- posts "HELP" as the title is not worth my time.
I hope others realize this as well.
