"Cassindra's Chant of Clarity"
 

Sorry if this has been asked, but where can this spell be bought? According to the silver sandbox website this song is classic and in the game, but I can't seem to find any of the NPC's that sell it. Any bards out there wanna help a brotha out? It's the level 20 mana regen song.

That's a Kunark song. Originally bards only had Chorus of Clarity.

**edit** it was indeed fuzzy, but that other vendor in EC will have it if you don't get to the Chorus by Kunark.

If i understand correctly this song is not available as of now on the server.

However Patch notes of March 28th ( http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...+Chant+Clarity ) seem to indicate that (2nd line of content) the duration for it has been fixed :confused:

Can anyone confirm if that song is (or not) in game at the moment ?

Not only is it not in game, but it is NOT a kunark song, it was added 3 months into velious during a famous patch intended to balance some classes:

Bards:

* Added new level 20 Bard Song: Cassindra`s Chant of Clarity.
* Bards defensive skill made exactly the same as a warriors.
* Changed it so that the bard spell Denon's Desperate Dirge to increase damage by 10pts per level over 45. Also made it so the spell does 20% more damage using the Puretone discipline.

Is this saying that Bards' damage mitigation was the same as warriors at some point?

Also, I think they'd need a lot more than that to balance Denon's Desperate Dirge so that it's worth the mana cost.

Their Defense skill was made to match warriors, but their parry/riposte/dodge etc was always far inferior.
