Why is the server popluation going so low and how to save it?
 

SO i think everyone can tell the server population is crashing a lot lately and i just wanted to take a momnent to discuss why that is possibly happening and what can be done to fix it. The form of this forum post is going to basically take the format of me thinking out loud, and please comment however you feel like, the more cuss words the better.

So ideas for why the serverr poplution could be low.
1. Large guilds are killing the server by dominating the raid scene
2. Kunark is boreing as fuck
3. Server drama caused by competeing raid guilds has turned some people off
4. Abuse of power and claims of things are for the good or for live aspect but really serve no purpose
5. Diablo 3
6. Just the ebb and flow of any server population??
7. orr wait. maybe its because kunark has been out for 2 fucking years??

Ideas for how to fix it.
1. suspend the largest raid guild around for 2 weeks so other people can have a chance
2. GM enforced raid mob sharing
3. GM enforced everything
4. All people who like to raid like it was on live just go back to live via EQmac
5. hype of velious a little more...do some beta testing even if its really just to jump start the kunark population again...
6. Start never having GM events
7. randomly suspend people and offer nearly zero explanation
8. Make it more and more like Stalinist russia
9. Hire a GM with a giant blob on their foreheard to privitize the server
10. Make it a requirement all gnomes just go sit in a corner, dirty pecks
11. release some new content even if its custom...

Sounds like straight up cheating to me and its no surprise.

I'm not sure why he is. But he's being extremely technical right now, when it was never done before to this extent on R n F.

If it was cheating, the people responsible would be banned/suspended, not the entire guild. Use your head.

As of now RnF should just be deleted as a forum. You can't rant or flame.. Should just call this Server Chat & NSFW (since the gay/gore porn lasted longer than these threads are lasting... a lot longer)
