I think some clear rules on what is bannable and for how long would be great (is there any forum ban aside from a permaban anymore?). Because lots of people are getting permabans for increasingly ridiculous shit. And it's not just questionable stories, the evidence from their posts backs it.

this ^^ , because so many forum mods have all of a sudden developed delusions of adequacy and think that they are god.

It's actually kind of sad if you think about it (not a flame) ... sad in the fact that some people are getting their validation out of invalidating others within a forum that is specifically for this!!! Now there is the issue of server chat and unfuckingreal forum moderation there too,,, but I am only addressing this area for now.

And, food for thought, any "good" moderator knows that you have to step back, not take shit personally, not get emotionally involved, and look at things as an outsider. You cannot, ever, let your personal feelings about any subject color your rulings.
