Hmm I think something may be wrong... When I log into the game there are no servers at all - I found on a forum

And I don't think this is the case... If I type in the incorrect password it still logs me in to server select screen - it shouldn't do that?

One thing I had done... I went into properties and changed the file and all of its subfolders of everquest when it was in the program files to NOT "read only".... would this mess things up at all?

Just realized I didn't have the EQEMU launcher... So I downloaded it; now the issue is: "You do not have enough permissions to the specified Everquest-Directory. Aborting Patch"

Not sure what I am doing wrong... I having troubles installing this on my brothers windows laptop as well as installing mine on my mac laptop... my heads been hurting for 2 days now trying to figure it out!

right click and run as admin.

"EQhost.txt does not appear to be patched - patch now? yes or no..." I chose no and it started downloading things automatically: am I suppose to be launching EQ off the EQ icon or via EQemu launcher... I am a bit confused.

I am able to get in now but there are still no servers...?

Launch using the EQemu launcher, DO NOT run the actual EQ patcher.

Once EQemu Launcher opens, select Project1999 and click Play. If it asks you to patch, choose yes and let it do its thing.
