EQemu not working?
 

keep getting told that a connection cannot be reached -- anyone else got the same issue?

A) There was /is something wrong with global login server. Give it a few tries and it may let you in.

B) Project 1999 servers (globally - client, wiki, forum) were unresponsive for about twenty minutes.

C) The error message(s) [including 787 xml file] from EQEMU program are false positives as long as the server is working.


D) Why you still using EQEMU and not running the client directly?

It's up and running now.

If you mean the client (launcher) I don't like launchers, they ALWAYS break on my after a patch day no matter what game. I click Eqgame.exe shortcut as the old method and it loads straight to log-in screen. Type my details -- bit of a pause get told it can't reach a connection.

Also noticed that the EQEmulator site isn't actually working either.

I've used the launcher as well as a direct eqgame.exe shortcut and I cannot log in.

Urban I am set up the same way and am having the same issues. Let me know when you get back on.

Having the same issue. The forums/site etc are running extremely slow, and when I log in to the game through Launcher or directly, am told connection cannot be reached after putting in my p/w and waiting.

Well from what I can gather, this isn't a P99 problem.. it's an EQemu problem. Nothing much we can do just sit here and wait it out or go and do other stuff :)

Ok well I will make some dinner then and try again in 30 mins or so........
