Succulents of all types are not supposed to assist each other. They currently do on P99

I have hit them with spells and their nearby friends have not assisted them. They drop from a few silver up to around 3p and change. They tend to run at about 1/3 of their health. Just nuke, sic pet, back up and nuke as required. Usually take full or very close to full damage.
