hello all my name is green and i usually play a shaman,as i have mastered the art. however i might play a necro to get started depending on how well this post goes. i am looking for friends to play with, chat with . and all the other things you get when you play this kickass mmo. i love eq, i want to play a server with friendly people and have chill adventures! also a concern of mine is the perfect client, does anyone have one. anyone out there know what i mean by that? the perfect client. all sounds and art and everything, just right/./? talk to you soon? thanks in advance!

The EQ Client is proprietary and cannot be handed out. However, you should be able to find Everquest: Titanium fairly easily if you ask your friends. Once you have the default Everquest: Titanium, edit it per these instructions. You should now be able to play on Project1999.

Then I suggest you check out the Technical Discussion forum for optimizing Everquest. In there you will find UIs, guides to shrink your Everquest: Titanium directory to just the bare essentials for P99, and guides to enable/disable Luclin models, Velious armors, and more!

As far as classes, necros and shaman both solo effectively, but shaman are more item dependant at lower levels than necromancers (making necros superior for the untwinked newbie). Good luck, and welcome to our world now!
