A tribute to success

I'm surprised that the server unexpected went down (with 30 minutes notice from Rogean), and there wasn't an immediate "WTF? Why is the server down" Thread started, where most of the responses were filled with typical withdrawal symptoms. I take it as a tribute to the P99 team, that the outages are so few and far between that the community isn't upset when they have to miss out on 20-30 minutes of game play.

Kudos to both the P99 team, and the community. A pleasant surprise.

Last patch was almost two weeks ago. Pretty sure people know one would be coming up soon, it was just a matter of when.

Yeah, these guys do a fantastic job running this server. They have put up with a whole lot of BS over the last year, I got to give them props for their endurance and determination.

Ditto

P.S. Yay, server's back up!

I've said it before, I'll say it again: all hail the P99 dev team!

And on a holiday weekend, no less!

You may wana hold off on the praises here.....

Sure overall they've been having a good uptime but why does he have to do the patches during prime time and on a US holiday weekend?

Probably because they have real lives and real jobs, and their weekends off are when they selflessly devote their free time to patching the free server they provide.

This, just be glad we don't have to pay $10-12 a month for this amazing game. I donate $15 a month just because it feels right to give back and help keep the server running. The devs donate enough of their free time to this game, the community should at least help to keep the server up and running through donations :)
