Shared banking
Especially close Everquest friendships are often cemented by an online "marriage," an actual wedding ceremony after which the two characters' game assets -- gold, armor, weaponry and the like -- can even be combined into one bank account, if they so desire.
Taken from, http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=us Is there any classic truth to sharing banks with married toons? |
That would rule, and Rogean could mediate after the bitchwife runs off with all the dude's plats.

Never had this when I played - all the way through Velious. Sounds like a bad idea :)

I imagine whoever wrote that was soundly thumped by the management. I can just see the meeting: "Are you INSANE? Do you have any idea the kind of CS nightmare that would open up???"

I love reading old EQ articles. I read one from 2003 recently about EQ's economy and it stated that some players "owned entire castles to hold their vast amounts of gold and treasures."
Give us some fucking castles! |
its BS ... in classic there wasnt even a shared bank account for your own account, let alone multiple accounts sharing one bank ...

multiple account sharing a bank? come on thats just out there... i wouldnt mind shared banking since we can 2 box to trade items. |
"Their research has unearthed a hidden drama behind a character that many Everquest players thought they knew well, but apparently didn't know at all."
