All the mages I've talked to don't do spell research. I'm 7 points away from trivial but I know I'll fuck it up.

You can train research all the way up if you have any skill points.

does cost about 800p or something to get it all up, some people don't want to do that lol

I have never done it myself, just know you can! If youre just hurting to 7 points might be worth it.
