Necromancers & PvP
 

I can't stand it anymore. Rogue + low population PvP server = castration.

I'm rolling a necromancer and starting a newbie guild for pre 46's to stick together in.

To start off, I'm new to pvp in this game and plan on dieing pretty much in every fight.

But lets pretend I was a 100 year veteran pvp pro. Is the necromancer class "Decent" at pvp? Fear obviously doesn't stick to PC's cause that'd be overpowered. But, with MR can a skilled necromancer be a threat?

I plan on being the only female erudite on the server! (I think). My name may possibly be Pixel Bation.

Pumice
cure poison potion
cure disease potion
root pet

.... at least you have a life tap

I am absolutely positive that there are a few, but most notably Zereh, look for the most geared out cleric on the server.

You can still be the only female erudite paladin on the server :D auto loot that SoSS!!

necromancer was a beast on live because they had unresistable spells during a time when spell damage was easily resisted. Since the resistance system here is so god awful they don't hold a lot of power, and the player base being informed about cure pots and pumice isn't going to help either.

to add to mostbitters point, dispell is totally fucked up here too. (cancel magic always removing 1, and it might not even be the top slot; for example...)

as for necro here, u can easily kill most fools by simply casting a debuff first, dotting, then keep the debuff up as they dispell

it is also a good idea to toss a lower rank of a certain dot line up before you put your current rank on, as that will have to be dispelled first and can be cast faster than it can be dispelled

Pumice clears 2 slots though (nullify magic) so it would remove both?

I was referencing poison dots but yeah it would cus its fucked and staff doesnt give two shits

you would think amirite. usually it only takes 1 debuff and then your dot lands after their buffs, so they gotta click em all off while pumicing, and u can keep dotting
