Is a fungi tunic worth getting 30+ on a monk due to the loss in dex and agil?

Short answer: yes

Long answer: very very much so.

Its hard to beat the regen. My monk is lvl 47 and its still very nice to have.

This.. Plus.. Hell and Yes.

10 agi or dex loss means absolutely nothing unless that 10 agi is putting you below 75

It is easily the best in slot item for chest for a monk at any level.

For soloing certainly. Not in all situations, however.

I would love for someone to actually parse fights with agi gear vs without so we can see how much the devs here put value on agi, but for now all that is known is that more agi=more ac


but anyway yeah a fungi is one of the best things you can get for your monk regardless
