Crying=publicly speaking of the consistent rules violations by TMO and changes to rules and/or interpretations by staff. Clearly, new content negates playing by the rules it would seem.

It's also not talking shit when it's truth. TMO had a guy violate a raid rule today and he got suspended. It happened a few days ago, too. And again not long before that. FE and BDA don't really have that issue.

No it's crying and it's getting boring!

Haha I'm just curious why you people are all so convinced that Fauss is banned - the dude has disappeared before for extended periods of time (not from disciplinary action). If you knew the guy you'd know that he's probably about the last person in TMO at risk of being suspended/banned. Every time I have suggested something even slightly reprehensible, usually while completely joking, he would take a serious stance against it.

Yes, actually FE/BDA do have issues with violating the server rules. Difference is, TMO doesn't petition it most of the time. Many raid encounters are volatile and have multiple guilds participating, and things happen through a combination of factors, not just the fault of TMO. You are not only guilty of oversimplifying the situation here, but you're also guilty of taunting the staff and thinking that you need to enforce some sort of "vigilante justice" here when this is really a GM issue at the end of the day...

Yajirobe Yajipants 01-06-2013 07:04 PM

I don't see any taunting of staff. More like pointing out of the constant redrawing of the line in the sand. TMO instantly pushes the issue when they see/have something, it's just the frequency of rules violations is far less than TMO. Two Inny's ago, we were hit up pretty quickly from TMO w/ fraps over an FE train.

To deny that there are more rules violations on TMO's behalf is just naive. At least attribute it to more raiders present for any given target and thus more chances for (at the very least) an accidental violation.

When your guild starts attempting some of these encounters and runs into these situations you may edit this post.

On another side note, why is it such a crime to publicly show who has been banned so people can see who are idiots/assholes on the server. Little transparency would sweet.

Yajirobe Yajipants 01-06-2013 07:06 PM

By all means, please petition us for every rule violation that we do. Either it won't result in much (because we don't give amnesty to rule breakers) or we get rid of troublesome members.

Please list the BDA members that have been suspended for raid interference / training:

Please list the TMO member that have been suspended for raid interference / training:
Sentenza and his alts at least 3 times that I know of

3 unnamed members from fear a couple weeks ago

Anyone else feel like filling in some gaps?
