P99 from the couch!

Hey all.

I know a lot of people use a HDMI cable to their HDTV to use their computer.

I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a keyboard and mouse without setting up a table by the couch. This would allow me to sit comfortable still. I know there are various gamepads and things made for this type of situation.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Not really the answer I was looking for. Wireless is obvious. I mean actual devices. Forexample, a regular mouse would not function properly on your lap :P

Most likely a Trackball or similar.

Wireless. With a book under the mouse, i just use the couch itself as the mouse pad. i mean really.

Optical/laser mice will work on soft surfaces, just be sure you keep the surface clear of any dirt or hair-type things. I personally promote Logitech hardware, though I'm guilty of having a Razer Naga mouse. If you're going to be in front of the big TV often, then get a laptop table for laptop computers (they usually make them for better air flow, etc) with a fold-out mouse sidebar.
