what does the free to play portion offer ? Raids ? PVP? I watched my friend play this game for awhile, looked like WoW with lightsabers.

can only do something retarded like 1 bg/instance a week as a free2play and you have to buy action bars and really stupid necessary shit

You get 2 action bars for free. Anything more is pretty much clutter anyway. It's sort of like playing EQ with 1.5 action bars, as a comparison.
