Spirit Tome?? WTF?
 

Why all the sudden are peeps trying to sell Spirit Tomes for 500p or 1k? Was there some change I don't know about or are they just jacking up the price?

Someone doesn't care for p99 auction data and lists at 1k. Other people see this and do it as well. Then some guy thinks he's making a sweet deal by offering it at 500 in the sea of 1k sellers.

Give it a few days and you'll get it at ~300.

Also, don't complain - nows your chance to make some money (be the guy selling at 500 after you acquired it for 300).

Friday night, someone was giving 2 tomes away to the first people that sent them a tell.

Also some cleric gave away 2,000 plat 1k to the first person to send him a tell. I was a recipient of one of those give aways.

Supply and demand.

The market has gone mad. Wurmslayers dont go cheaper then 5.5k atm when they were a steady 4k like 3 weeks ago. Thick Banded Belt which was always a steady 2k is now in the 3.5k listing range. Hell the only thing I have seen go down is the Woodsman Staff which was 6k before and I saw one listed at 4k the other night.

Can't wait for things to settle down but I must admit, I am making a killing buying/reselling. But now i'm just buying because I resold everything and now buying sux because everything costs 60% more then 3 weeks ago.

with 1,000+ people on per night, the demand is more than the supply. This makes people pay more for something so they don't have to sit in the tunnel for 4 days to buy a lambent bracer.

According to a thread I was reading in RNF, apparently new players can make 500k a month, so these prices don't surprise me.

Me? I've been here over two years. Think I have 10k

The only way a brand new player could make that kind of money would be with 24-hour-per-day dedication to reselling... and being very good at it.

I probably just got trolled though. Someone talking about economics based on R&F and all. Etc.
