so that either makes it luclin or earlier....

This is from memory so understand the reliability:

When the newbie zone armor quests were introduced, they used items that had been in the loot tables and they introduced new items into the loot tables. Items that had previously dropped without an obvious purpose (not vendor trash, probably part of an intended, but incomplete quest) now had a purpose as part of the armor quests.

Huh. I never did check. Were Terrorantula's parts ever used for anything?

Has recommended level on the gear, so it is a Luclin addition. Likely won't see it on this server ever.
