Multiple Tradeskills
 

I know that players can have multiple tradeskills, but only one is allowed to be at cap... what is the cap of secondary tradeskills?

Does spell research count toward this?

Can you change your primary tradeskill via a quest to lower the skill level (like changing specialization)

Just in case you play a character that has it's own trade skill type; gnome=tinkering, shaman=alchemy, rogue=poison making; these are not counted against the one trade skill limit, and may also go above 200.

Also, whats the primary skill cap?

In classic it was 200, in Kunark it became 250, in Velious 300.

Currently on this server I don't know what the cap is but you can most definitely raise your primary skill way past 250.

The only tradeskills that have recipes allowing them to go beyond 200 as far as I know are cooking, brewing and jewelcrafting.

Baking is like 224, Brewing 252, and JC is like 280 (due to high trivial values on black sapphire combines)

I am not sure about tinkering, alchemy, or poisonmaking at this time, and fletching I am not all that far into, so it will be a while before I can tell.

Of the 7 main tradeskills (baking, brewing, fletching, jewelcraft, pottery, smithing, tailoring) you may have only of one them above 200.
