Sol A problems

Okay, I don't know if there is anyone else this happens to, or maybe its my router. but everytime i get down to the gnomes in Soluseke's Eye. Everything starts lagging, 30 second delay on everything. Tells, Spells, even watching my pet follow me, he is 30 seconds behind me. Is there anyone with any ideas what could be wrong, maybe an IP problem, or router problem, etc.

The only time I have been to SolA, several people in the zone were reporting bad lag spikes. Me and two others in my group (at foreman) were affected, though my problem lasted very briefly. One of our group members had to log several times in order to try and make the lag go away though, but this only provded a temporary solution.

Aposi this happened to me too.. curious what router are you using?

Aposi 06-14-2010 06:39 PM

netgear rangemax. its connected with a cable, so it can't be the wireless that would do it.

Yeah, not the same router... I'm not sure whats going on, but it just happened again and had to camp out. Latency is fine on the reading, but huge delay between casts.

I've had similar problems in SolA as well.

Anyone know a possible fix to this or explanation on why it happens? i would love to go camp the gnomes but can't with the horrible lag.

Aposi 06-16-2010 12:53 PM

So i feel we are cursed and will never be able to step foot in gnomes since no one seems to know why this happens.

I'd like to figure it out as well, Aposi. This place and Permafrost lag me to death it seems. I might even try looking on EQ forums for a fix I think it might be a hardware issue for certain folks.
