melee spell interrupt

So i'm lvl 19 cleric, fighting really low greens in qeynos catacombs for a quest item...

and it almost never fails, if one of the mobs hit me for a measly one point of damage, i get spell interrupt.

I know it didn't use to be that bad on live, and i know they had included it here.

But couldn't they have put in a damage limit on how much damage it takes to activate the push/interrupt?

Do i seriously have to fight lvl 4-8 mobs against the wall?

until you get your channeling up a bit, it'll be like that.

Duckforceone 02-17-2013 06:34 AM

channeling is at 100...

Were you power leveled to the level that you are? Channeling should prevent inturrupts the majority of the time, esp. considering your skill should be around 100 at your level.
Also check the 1 dmg hits, are they bashes? Those will be twice to three times as likely (I forget the actual numbers) to inturrupt, and 100% likely if they stun you.

but you say a high channeling will cancel it out?

Duckforceone 02-17-2013 06:36 AM

also, they were regular hits, no bash.

Channeling definitely helps a lot.
At level 43 with channeling maxed over 200 I can usually sit there and take 1, 2 or more hits and not be interrupted, very frequently too. I forget what it was like at lower levels.

if i remember right they had a hard time implementing push and spell interrupt, ogre frontal stun immunity didnt work for the first year.

It might not be exactly how it was on live but its close
