Sky quests are not upgraded..?
 

According to a post by nilbog at https://www.project1999.org/forums/s...d.php?p=779491, quests should be upgraded. however two ppl in our guild handed in quest pieces and only received the 1st version not the second. if we merely hand them in again will we get the upgraded piece? or should they be handing out the upgraded items from the get-go?

I didnt have this issue with my chanter rod

SK ring and bard mask both returned the 1st version, this was lastnight/early morning today.

if you had the items before they were upgraded you have to turn them in. after the patch they should give you the upgraded version. I can only comment pre epic patch, that's how it worked for me.

Just curious how you all knew that that had gone in pre patch. I never saw any patch notes that mentioned upgraded sky quest items. Is there some other patch note area I should be looking at?

actually we waited for them to be patched in, if you follow the dialog for the same quest they ask if you want to trade them in. Also this helps

If you have the old version, you will need to talk to the same NPC you obtained it from to get the new item. When available the quest rewards are listed as Reward: Original Item (Upgraded Item)."

so cholk and heartbrand were able to do it without patch notes informing them so?

i did my sk ring quest on red months ago and initially recieved the upgraded ring right off the bat.
