I have seen all of the above issues with pet...
I have seen all of the above issues with pet aggro. Ive seen a druid, tank an entire fight, because of a regen landing on a pull. With two mage pets beating and taunting the mob the entire fight.

Paw with a group is also good exp. There are usually pick up groups that camp the zone lines, but need a group you can trust if your going to go deeper.
