I have never had a bad experience with Dial A Port. I have found them to be a good service, and I generally tip them well. If they have any fault it is that there are often not enough of them...

As myriverse said, the folder probably doesn't have the correct permissions. I had to go and set the folder so that everyone had read/write permission, and that way, log files were correctly written.
