I used an old archived EverQuest Titanium Edition folder from a previous installation and patched that. I was able to log and join a server without the error message.

I have just finished an install and patch v.53 for EQ Titanium Edition and am getting this error also and would like to see a resolution to the problem so I can continue playing.
