This was awhile back when I last turned in gnoll fangs. I remember it taking exactly 100 gnoll fangs to go from level 14 to level 15 as a Gnome Necromancer. That would make each gnoll fang worth 7,000 XP not 30,000 like you suggested, but maybe the quest XP has changed since I last did the quest.
