Desynch is now immediate in my case. As of a month ago I had about a 1 in 5 chance of synching, now there is absolutely no chance, after about 3 seconds latency spikes to 4000+. Sometimes I can run to the orb after 3 attempts, and can log in with enough time to click key on orb. My odds of getting pained soul are approximately nil.
