Actually no, Kunark had unique distance-based aggro in classic. If you used a bolt at max range and then ran away from the mob, you'd have so much distance by the time the bolt landed that you were outside the range that the mob could path to. It wasn't a loss of aggro, the mob just didn't know where to find you so it ignored you; if you got near it later it would remember you and come running. Does not function on P99. Not really relevant though.

Show us evidence of "leashing" during classic / kunark era. Not "I remember one time I made a mage on live and shot a bolt at a critter in dreadlands and it didn't come after me teehee"
