Can you spell this fix out for an idiot (i.e.: me)? Specifically, I should:
Find the Everquest folder in my Programs;
Open it - create a new text file;
enter the following line: start /affinity 1 eqgame.exe patchme
rename it to EQwhatever.bat, and save it in the EQ folder;
Open Properties on my EQ shortcut (already on my desktop) and enter ** what??** in the Target line? The name of the .bat file? (This is where I'm being an idiot, I think, but I'm not Windows savvy and I didn't sleep in a Holiday Inn last night)

This only works on Vista and Win7 FWIW, not xp.
